The Eastern Oregon University Small Business Development Center will host a free tax incentives workshop on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Integrated Services Building, 1607 Gekeler Lane in La Grande.
“Enterprise Zones and Other Oregon Tax Incentives,” taught by Art Fish of Business Oregon, is intended for entrepreneurs and business owners looking to start a business or expand and communities seeking to attract businesses. Topics will include taxes and incentives background, income tax abatements, enterprise zones, enterprise zone incentives, and non-zone property tax exemptions.
