The funds are available through the federal CARES Act.

Relief funds are available to residents within the Hermiston city limits to help cover financial needs, including mortgage payments, rental payments, and water, sewer, or garbage fees.

Applications are open to households under 110 percent of the county’s median income. Immigration status is not a requirement.
