The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce has lined up a slew of entertainment throughout the day for the annual Funfest that takes place July 8 in downtown Hermiston.

Gems and Gents Troupe will help kick things off at 9 a.m., followed up by Big Top the Clown, formerly part of the Ringling Brothers-Barnum & Bailey Red Unit Circus, performing at 9:30 a.m.

The Bram Brata Youth Steel Band from the Tri Cities will take the stage at 11 a.m.

Then Josephine Reli and Joseph Konty will be performing on the Main Street Stage 12:15-2 p.m. Relli, 15, is a singer, songwriter and musician from Portland. Her producer, teacher and guitarist is Joseph Konty, who started his music career in Eastern Oregon at age 14. Joseph and family moved to Hermiston from Texas for a stent and then moved to the Portland area in 2001. His career went nationally in 2009.

The Bear in the Box Chain Saw Carving Auction gets under way at 2 p.m., a favorite for many of the festival goers.
