Gail Lynne Eisele of Hermiston passed away at her home in Hermiston on Aug. 12, 2023 at the age of 67.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1955 in McMinnville to Earl Richard Pichette and Blanche Eloise Cobeldick Pichette.
Gail grew up and attended schools in Coos Bay. She married Edward Eisele on June 12, 1982 at the First Presbyterian Church in North Bend. The couple resided in the Coos Bay areas for several years. Following Ed’s Marine Corps career, the couple lived in Camp Pendleton, Calif. and Oahu, Hawaii for the next 20 years. Gail worked as a bartender at the military recreation center in Camp Pendleton for several years. The couple moved to Hermiston in 2002, where they have resided for the past 21 years.
Gail loved watching old classic movies, doing crossword puzzles and going to the annual powwow at Grand Ronde. She loved decorating for the holidays because she was big on holiday family traditions, one being to make sure the Christmas tree was up one week before Thanksgiving. She was very family oriented and took pride in spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Edward; son, Jason Pichette; daughters, Shayla (John Jr.) Boggs and Talese (Travis) Dollarhide; her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Pichette Davis; and many more extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held in North Bend at a later time.
Family suggests donations in Gail’s memory be sent to something that would benefit children.
