George R. Price died peacefully on April 29, 2024 at his home in Boardman at the age of 66.
He was born on Dec. 7, 1957 in Hermiston to Richard and Peggy Sanders Price.
George served for over 30 years in law enforcement in several different communities where he made many friends. He retired in 2014 from the Boardman Police Department. Growing up he was in the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorers and the Civil Air Patrol. George enjoyed motorcycles, working on vehicles and woodworking.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy, Hermiston; brother, Edward of Idaho; two nephews; close friend, Blanca; as well as her daughter and granddaughters and numerous cousins.
George was preceded in death by his father. Services were held on Monday, May 6, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in George’s memory may be made to Tunnel of Towers or any law enforcement charity.
