Geraldine Mamie Gervais died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her home in Hermiston at the age of 86.
She was born Sept. 2, 1927 at Sunnyside, Wash., to Biddy and Mamie (Johnson) Baze.
She was raised in Sunnyside, Wash. On July 4, 1948 she married Paul Joseph Gervais in Sunnyside. They moved to Fremont, Calif., where Geraldine worked at Raytheon Electronics as a dyetatcher. They moved to Hermiston in 1989. Paul Gervais passed in 1997. Geraldine enjoyed playing solitaire, reading, and horses.
She is survived by daughters, Gladys Ruloph, Patricia Jones and Diana Fee, all of Hermiston; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Joseph Gervais in 1997; granddaughter, Diane Smith; and two sisters, Gladys Taylor and Ella Altizer.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
