The Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington are inviting all veterans and one additional loved one to a turkey dinner on Friday, Nov. 10 in appreciation of their service to the country. The dinner begins at 5 p.m. and is hosted by New Hope Church in Umatilla, formerly Umatilla Baptist Church.
The scouts and leaders want this to be a time of story-sharing, and they also invite those with photos of their veterans to share to send them to su22manager@gmail.com.
Space is limited, so seats must be reserved by calling Denise at 541-579-0768. New Hope Church is located at 146 Columbia St. in Umatilla.
