Girl Scouts offers a host of opportunities for both girls and adults to grow and have fun. In Girl Scouts, members learn new skills, take part in new activities, build leadership traits, make friends and so much more.
Local Girl Scout volunteers are hosting open house events for those interested in joining to learn more about the organization. The events will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 at West Park Elementary School, Sept. 16 at Desert View Elementary School, Sept. 22 at Highland Hills Elementary School, Sept. 29 at Sunset Elementary School and Oct. 6 at Rocky Heights Elementary School. Admission is free.
Each evening includes games, a craft, and displays. Members who would like to share their experiences being a Girl Scout. Girls in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited, as well as adults who are interested in being a positive role model for girls by volunteering. All girls 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
