She was born on April 19, 1922 in Rulison, Colo. to Thomas and Callie Kerby Martin.
Gladys was united in marriage to Wayne Morgan on June 26, 1942 in Rulison. They lived in Watsonville, Calif., where they operated a foster home for special needs children for many years. They moved to Irrigon in 1988 and then to Hermiston in 1999. Wayne passed away in September, 1999, and Gladys continued to live in Hermiston for several years before moving to Walla Walla. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Irrigon. Gladys enjoyed collecting rocks, traveling and sewing.
She is survived by her sons, Roland Morgan, Clifford Morgan and Clyde Morgan; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and eight siblings.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 24 at the Irrigon Seventh-day Adventist Church.
