Glen W. Wulff of Hermiston fought his battle with cancer with strength and dignity. He passed away on Oct. 5, 2017 with his family at his side.
He was born on Nov. 11, 1933 in Gardena, N.D. to William and Martha Klebe Wulff.
His family moved to Oregon for a short time before settling in Kennewick, Wash. He graduated from high school in Kennewick in the early 1950s. He then served in the U.S. Army and was active during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he attended Oregon State University, where he received a bachelor degree in Agriculture Economics. He married Joy A. Zandofsky in Corvallis in 1958.
Glen worked as manager of PGG fertilizer department for 26 years and general manager of Growers Fertilizer for seven years. He served on the board of directors for the Oregon Society of Weed Science and the Oregon Ag Chemical Association. He served on numerous committees for the Fertilizer and Pesticide Association.
Glen enjoyed spending his free time at his Sumpter cabin.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joy, of Hermiston; children, Jon and Mark Wulff and Valerie Cano; grandchildren, Artie, Ryan, Mariah and Helen; and great grandchildren, Arn, Erik and Arwen.
