The public is invited to attend the open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Good Shepherd Cancer Center’s new location on Thursday, July 18.
The open house will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and will include hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. The location is 620 N.W. 11th St., Suite M-102 on the main level.
Board-Certified Hematologist & Oncologist Dr. Stephen Iacoboni said he is grateful for the center’s new location.
“The hospital’s administrative staff has made cancer care a priority for the region,” he said. “With the new clinic location, I am able to provide quality cancer care in a setting that is healing and esthetically pleasing for patients and staff.”
Susan Stephens, BSN, RN, OCN, OR-SANE, Good Shepherd Cancer Center’s Nurse Manager, described the center’s new location as “beautiful and inviting” and added that patients are appreciative of the private infusion rooms and comfortable atmosphere.
“We have new treatment recliners, televisions, and great food to make our patients feel at home,” Stephens said. “Our Cancer Center team is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide extraordinary cancer care in a clinic that is larger and accommodates our growing cancer program.”
