Good Shepherd Health Care System and Umatilla County Public Health will present a free community Narcan training event on Thursday, May 9.
The training goes from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in conference center 2 at Good Shepherd, 610 N.W. 11th St. in Hermiston. Attendees will learn how to properly store and administer the drug to prevent an opioid overdose. Free Narcan and instructions will be provided while supplies last.
