    HERMISTON, OR – Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) is pleased to welcome Dennis L. Su, MD, RPVI, a Board-Certified, fellowship-trained Vascular Surgeon who will lead the newly established Good Shepherd Vascular Surgery clinic located at 620 NW 11th Street, Suite M-206 in Hermiston. Dr. Su has more than 15 years of experience in vascular and endovascular surgery, providing patients throughout the region with access to comprehensive vascular care close to home.

    “We are excited to welcome Dr. Su and provide Vascular Surgery to the communities we serve,” said Art Mathisen, GSHCS President & CEO. “The addition of this service represents another significant step in expanding access to advanced specialty care in our region.”

    Dr. Su earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his General Surgery residency and Chief Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. He then completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, within the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy. Dr. Su is certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and has served on the University of Washington Department of Surgery clinical faculty for more than a decade.

    “My goal is to provide comprehensive, high-quality vascular care that combines advanced technology with an individualized approach for every patient,” said Dr. Su. “Vascular care is my calling, and I take great pride in treating each patient with compassion and kindness. I look forward to providing patients with the right treatment while focusing on safety, quality outcomes and preserving life and tissue whenever possible.”

    Good Shepherd Vascular Surgery provides vascular care in one location, including in-house vascular ultrasound and the ability to accommodate urgent same-day surgical and ultrasound needs when appropriate. The program offers both minimally invasive endovascular procedures and complex open vascular procedures with a focus on limb salvage, dialysis access, abdominal aortic aneurysms, cerebrovascular and stroke care, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), varicose veins, and lymphedema.

    Outside of medicine, Dr. Su enjoys spending time in nature and practicing yoga and meditation, which reflect his appreciation for mindfulness, balance and well-being.
