Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) announced it has acquired the occupational medicine practice of James Fulper, MD, formerly located in the Broun Building at 645 W Orchard Ave in Hermiston.
Good Shepherd’s new service line, “Good Shepherd Occupational Health,” is now available in the Good Shepherd Urgent Care location within the Columbia Professional Plaza at 1050 W Elm Ave, Suite 110, in Hermiston.
Leading Good Shepherd Occupational Health services is Medical Director Robert McCauley, MD, Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician.
“With the retirement of Dr. Fulper, we as an organization realize there is a real need for access to occupational medicine throughout this region,” said McCauley. “We believe it is imperative that we fill this gap to be good partners with our businesses in Eastern Oregon, providing top tier healthcare support for their employees.”
Good Shepherd Occupational Health services include physical examinations (such as pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, and annual physicals), drug and alcohol testing, immunizations and vaccinations, vision and hearing testing, occupational health screenings (including TB testing, respiratory fit testing, and spirometry), injury and illness management, and tailored employer solutions customized to align with the specific needs of area businesses.
“At Good Shepherd Occupational Health, we believe that a healthy workforce is the foundation of a thriving business,” said Good Shepherd Occupational Health Manager Tamara Lewter. “By prioritizing employee well-being, we’re not just treating ailments, we’re investing in the future of our communities. We have all-inclusive services allowing for a convenient one-stop-shop for all occupational health requirements.”
