Good Shepherd Health Care System is hosting a free Gatekeeper training session on Tuesday, July 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hermiston campus, 610 N.W. 11th St.
Gatekeeper training, provided by QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) Institute in Spokane, Wash., teaches trainees how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade and refer someone at risk.
