Health care will be the topic of the day at the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce’s Business To Business Luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
The event begins at 11:45 a.m. at the Blue Mountain Community College University Center, 975 S.E. Columbia Drive in Hermiston. Kevin Jefferies, consumer liaison with Oregon Insurance Division will be the guest speaker. Jefferies, who is also a representative with Cover Oregon, will be joined by a panel of local experts to answer questions about health care reform, Obamacare and other related topics.
Jefferies will also discuss the roles of the Department of Consumer and Business Services, the Insurance Division as well as introduce the new consumer guide that is currently available.
Lunch will be catered by Puddin on the Ritz. RSVP for the event by calling the chamber at 567-6151. The cost is $10 for chamber members and $13 for non-members.
