Health Foundation Awards Fall Grants

The Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation awarded seven health-related fall grants totaling $33,154 to nonprofit organizations to benefit their work within the local communities.

With the inclusion of these grants, the foundation has awarded $147,454.00 in grants and $32,750 in medical scholarships for the year 2016.

The following organizations received the following grants:

• Irrigon Jr. & Sr. High School – $2,659
• Made to Thrive – $5,200
• CAPECO – $1,500
• American Youth Soccer – $750
• Umatilla Police Department – $2,100
• Hermiston Emergency Fire Services Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office – $15,000
• Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office – $5,945
