Helen E. Perrin of Walla Walla, Wash., former Hermiston resident, died on Jan. 29, 2023 in Walla Walla, Wash. at the age of 82.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1940 in Del Norte, Colo. to Manuel and Mary Montoya Dominguez.
Helen was raised in Colorado and moved to Ogden, Utah in 1961. She was united in marriage to John Perrin on March 22, 1962 in La Grande. They raised their family between Hermiston and Ogden, Utah. They retired to Hermiston, where she lived until moving to Walla Walla, Wash. in 2014.
Helen was a member of New Hope Community Church, Hermiston. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, dancing and most of all, time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Perrin (Brandi), Battle Ground, Wash.; daughters, Ivy LeGarda (Raul), Pasco, Wash., Mary Jane Armenta (Rigo), Irrigon, Della Rock (John), Walla Walla, Wash. and Judy Bazan, Walla Walla, Wash.; brothers, Ted and Jake; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Josephine Martinez; a grandson, Rigo DeLapaz; and two brothers, Dave and Johnny.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Community Church, 1350 S. Highway 395, Hermiston.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
