The Heppner Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their Celebrate Christmas event on Thursday, Dec. 12, and part of the preparation is the kick-off of the rewards card program.
Rewards cards in denominations of $10, $20 and $50 will be given out for the amount of purchase by participating merchants through Dec. 12. The cards will be entered into drawings for prizes at the event, along with raffle items. Local and out-of-town merchants are donating the items.
The Christmas event takes place at 6 p.m. in the Gilliam and Bisbee Building, 106 E. May St. There will be complimentary cookies and beverage, a penny board, and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. For more information, call the chamber at 541-676-5536.
