The Heppner Mustangs traveled to La Grande on Friday and came away with a 42-8 win over Imbler in a game played at Eastern Oregon University.
C.J. Kindle did a little of everything for the Mustangs on Friday – he scored on an 83-yard kick-off return, a 65-yard punt return, as well as catching a touchdown pass and rushing for a score. Heppner quarterback Kaden Clark threw a pair of touchdown passes.
Heppner (1-0) will be on the road this Friday when they take on Grant Union at 7 p.m.
