Heritage Station Museum, 108 S.W. Frazer Ave. in Pendleton, will host Pioneer Day 2022 on Saturday, Aug. 20.
Visitors will learn about some of the skills pioneers needed for survival, including washing clothing on a washboard, dipping candles, and making butter – and can even try their hand at a few. The artisan market will also be open for shopping and will have demonstrations of various art forms.
The event goes from 12 to 3 p.m. All activities are included with regular museum admission; members are free. For more information, call 541-276-0012.
