The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department has announced a couple of updates to facility use now that Phase 2 re-opening is a go for Umatilla County.
Although playgrounds, picnic shelters and restroom facilities are still closed, the maximum outdoor group size has increased to 100 (social distancing in parks and on trails is strongly encouraged). The Hermiston Family Aquatic Center and Splash Pad will open in a limited capacity. Specific details on the structure of opening will be released next week.
