Hermiston Band Boosters to Hold Fundraiser on Jan. 20 at HHS

The Hermiston Band Boosters will hold their first annual fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 20, from 5:30-10 p.m. at Hermiston High School.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The evening will include a tri-tip dinner at 6:30 p.m. There will also be dancing and a silent auction which takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Music will be provided by the HHS Jazz Band and Brass Fire

The cost is $25 per person or $135 for a table of six. Tickets are available at the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce or at HHS.

I can not understand why the band has to hold fundraisers. the football team doesn’t have fundraisers. the school board just do not know that not every student can not play or does not want to play football and the band is just as important as the football team. most students have to supply their own musical instruments unlike the football players get everything supplied to them minus their shoes and socks
