The annual Hermiston Bark for Life fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 20 at Riverfront Park.
The event gives dog owners and their dogs a fun day of exercise while raising money for the American Cancer Society at the same time.
A 5-K fun run and dog walk starts at 1 p.m. The cost is $15 per participant with kids 13 and under free. Other events go on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include a silent auction, dog training, drawings, and more.
A cancer survivor and caregiver luncheon will take place from noon to 1 p.m. The lunch is free for survivors and one caregiver. RSVP to Jennifer at 541-230-0780 or email pittamj@gmail.com.
