The city of Hermiston and the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce will host the public launch of the “Where Life is Sweet” Hermiston community brand during Funfest on July 9 in downtown Hermiston.
The launch will begin at 10:45 a.m. on Hermiston’s Main Street Stage. Yo-Country will provide free watermelon frozen yogurt from 11 a.m. to noon. There will be balloons for the kids, and some branded T-shirts will also be given away.
The community brand will be used by the city of Hermiston and chamber to help give Hermiston an identity; promote Hermiston’s livability; attract more businesses and families to the area; and make Hermiston a desirable destination to increase tourism.
