The Greater Hermiston Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is looking for a new chief executive officer following an announcement from Kimberly Rill that she has accepted a new position in the community.
Rill, whose last day will be Feb. 12, was hired in April 2019 and has coordinated the activities of the various chamber committees and events, and has managed efforts to develop a new chamber office and workforce development center at South Highway 395 and East Evelyn Avenue.
“My time at the Hermiston Chamber has been wonderful and I look forward to staying in the region and continuing to support the business community in my new position,” Rill said.
“Kim has been an exceptionally energetic and talented manager, and we are sorry to see her go,” said Chamber Board President Annette Kirkpatrick. “We wish her all the best in her new position.”
