The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 53rd annual Distinguished Citizens Awards gala, set for March 1 at the Hermiston Community Center.
Nominations for Business of the Year, Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, First Responder of the Year and Community Champion (previously Merit of Honor) can be submitted online. The submission deadline is Feb. 6.
This year, the chamber is holding a sealed bid auction to determine the sponsors of the Business of the Year and First Responder awards. The deadline for sponsor bids is also Feb. 6. For more information, call the chamber at 541-567-6151.
