Due to COVID-19, the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce will not be hosting their annual Veterans Day breakfast this year. Instead, they invite all Armed Forces veterans to participate in a car parade down Main Street in Hermiston on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
Volunteers will be holding flags every 10 feet on both sides of the street as veterans drive by. Those wanting to participate should arrive at Sandstone Middle School on Northeast 10th Street between 9 and 9:30 a.m. The parade begins at 10 a.m.
