The city of Hermiston’s annual Tree Lighting Celebration will take place on Thursday, Dec. 5 on Festival Street. The free community event begins at 6 p.m.
There will be holiday music, hot chocolate, a campfire and carriage rides. Vendors will be on hand with food and holiday treats. The celebration also includes performances by Majazzty Accannella Choir, Hermiston High School’s jazz band and the Hermiston Community Theater, and professional photos with Santa will be available for a fee.
