The Hermiston City Council will consider a resolution at tonight’s meeting authorizing the city manager to sign a grant agreement with the Oregon Department of Transportation for $300,000 for a project at the Hermiston Municipal Airport.
The council will also consider a recommendation by the Hispanic Advisory Committee to drop the requirement that members be bilingual. Hermiston Mayor Dave Drotzmann will also proclaim Sept. 21 to be an International Day of Peace.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. at Hermiston City Hall.
