The city of Hermiston will hold a community recycling event on Saturday, April 2 at the Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center.
The event goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Garbage will not be accepted.
Items that can be recycled at the event include aluminum, appliances, car batteries, computers, electronics, paint, paper, cardboard, glass bottles and jars, plastics, tin, tires, scrap metal, yard debris and clean wood. Separate all materials before you bring them. Bins will be provided at the event.
