The Greater Hermiston Community Foundation is seeking applications for its 2024 grant cycle, which will run from May 1 to May 31.

Local organizations serving Hermiston, Umatilla, Stanfield, Echo, and Irrigon are encouraged to apply for funding to support projects that will have a lasting and positive impact on the community.

The Foundation is committed to supporting initiatives that promote the well-being and prosperity of the Greater Hermiston area. Projects eligible for funding must demonstrate a clear and measurable benefit to the community, with a focus on creating long-term value and sustainability.

Grants ranging up to $10,000 will be awarded to selected organizations whose proposals align with the Foundation’s mission and priorities. Funding can be used to support a wide range of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Community development projects
  • Education and youth programs
  • Health and wellness initiatives
  • Arts and cultural enrichment activities

“We are excited to once again offer this opportunity for local organizations to receive support for their valuable work through the generous donations of the community,” said Greg Harris, chair of the Greater Hermiston Community Foundation. “Through these grants, we hope to empower organizations to make a meaningful difference in our communities and contribute to their long-term vitality.”

Applications for the grant cycle can be accessed online at www.greaterhermiston.com. The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2024. Organizations are encouraged to review the grant guidelines and application instructions carefully before applying.
