The Hermiston City Council approved an annexation request on Monday that will allow the development of a Horizon Project integrated housing complex in northeast Hermiston.
Horizon Project Inc. requested to develop integrated housing facility with 20-plus units for multi-family housing and a group home serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
The lot, located behind PetSense, is about one acre and annexation will allow connection to city utilities.
Horizon Project is a Umatilla County-based organization with developments in Hermiston, Pendleton and Milton-Freewater.
