The Hermiston City Council will hear a report tonight on the city’s industrial lands study, as well as an update on the regional homeless shelter known as Project PATH.

Those issues will be discussed during a council work session scheduled for 6 p.m. prior to the regular council meeting.

During the 7 p.m. meeting, the council will approve a bid for improvements to be done at N. First Place. Also on the agenda is a rate adjustment request by Sanitary Disposal for solid waste – or garbage service.

The proposed rate increase would be $2.33 per month for residents using 90-gallon cans, and $1.50 per month for 35-gallon cans.
