Oregon’s First Cribbage Club # 2 will kick off the new club year on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Desert Lanes Bowling Alley in Hermiston.
The group meets weekly until the end of May.
Cribbage is one of the oldest frequently played card games. The game was created by Sir John Suckling in the early 17th century, and is derived from the old English game “noddy.”
Players of all ages and cribbage ability are encouraged to attend. If you are interested in playing or know someone who is, call JoAn Hill at 541-561-4941.
