Student registration will be from August 1-5 for the Hermiston School District.
Elementary students new to the district, or new to a building may register at the individual schools. Front office staff will be available from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. to assist in the process. Registration for new middle school students will be held at the respective middle school buildings from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Aug. 2 the school staff will be attending a mandatory training from 8 a.m. to noon, and will not be available to help register during this time.
If parents cannot register their student during this time frame, they are encouraged to contact the school directly to schedule an appointment. Translation services are also available if Spanish interpretation assistance is needed.
Previously enrolled elementary and middle school students returning to the district this fall are not required to register at the school, unless the family moved over the summer. Parents are asked to contact their specific school if parent/guardian, address, phone number, emergency contact or email has changed.
Parents or guardians enrolling new students are asked to provide:
1. Record of the student’s birth (i.e. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport)
2. Proof of residence/physical address
3. Health records
4. Previous report cards or transcripts to complete the process
When registering a middle or high school student, fees may be paid on-site with a credit card, check, cash or online.
Registration for Hermiston High School students is scheduled from August 15-19. Monday-Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, 8: a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to noon. Please see the schedule below:

Hermiston School District Open Houses will be take place on Thursday, Aug. 25. The district encourages students and families to attend to get acquainted with the teachers, and for students to practice opening their lockers.
