It might seem as though last year’s Independence Day was just a short while ago, yet the 2019 Stars & Stripes Fourth of July Celebration is only a few Thursdays away.
The free family-friendly event begins at 1 p.m. at Butte Park and ends with fireworks at 10 p.m. The celebration includes live music, entertainment, food and merchandise from local vendors, free games, and much more fun.
From 6 to 10:30 p.m., the Hermiston Family Aquatic Center hosts a pool party with a barbeque dinner catered by Dickey’s Barbeque in Pendleton, games, live music and swimming. Tickets are available at the aquatic center and online June 1-July 3 or until sold out. Parking passes are available upon request on a first-come basis.
