The Friends of the Hermiston Public Library sale gets under way Thursday evening with a special members-only sale and will open to the general public on Friday and Saturday.
The members-only sale will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for a special member’s night-only sale. You can become a member of the Friends of the Hermiston Public Library for $10 at the door.
The book sale will continue through the rest of the week with doors opening Friday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A wide variety of genres will be available including books on cooking, travel, history and more.
The final day of the sale is Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. when books can be purchased for $1 a bag. The sale will take place in the Lanham Room located in the downstairs area.
