Nine Hermiston students were the first to graduate from Hermiston Online on Saturday, June 1.
Hermiston Online provided an alternative learning environment from the typical “bricks and mortar” classes of HHS. Program graduates ranged the spectrum from a student about to age-out of the public school system, to teen mothers, to a junior who graduated early.
“They all worked really hard,” said Hermiston Online Coordinator Abby Mattson. “Time management, taking responsibility, and having the initiative to log in and work every day are why these students were so successful.”
