Even though Hermiston’s annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt is canceled this year due to coronavirus concerns, the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is providing an alternative for the public event.
A free bag of treat-filled eggs for a do-it-yourself egg hunt can be picked up tomorrow, April 11 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S. Highway 395. Just park and pop your trunk – and please stay in your car.
Eggs will be available while supplies last. For more information, call the parks department at 541-667-5018. The event is sponsored by Rogers Toyota of Hermiston.
