The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Hermiston Skatepark on Saturday, May 11.
The ceremony gets under way at 1 p.m. at the park, 345 S. First St., across from the Hermiston Police Department.
The event will include a skatefest with demonstrations and giveaways.
