Now that Umatilla County has entered Phase 1 of re-opening during the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions have loosened, the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department has resumed planning for summer camps – which will necessarily be limited in size this year. The department will be updating its website in the next few weeks as more information becomes available.
Parks and Recreation reminds the community that many amenities are still closed and will remain so until further guidance by the state. Please continue to social distance in parks and on trails and limit groups to 25 to help the county get to Phase 2.
