The following are recent arrests made by the Hermiston Police Department:
April 12: Oscar Miguel Mejia, 39, was arrested on the 600 block of W. Highland Avenue and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear and driving while suspended/revoked violation.
April 11: Ronal Alexander De Paz Pablo, 18, was arrested near N.W. 11th Street and W. Elm Avenue and charged with attempt to elude/flee and reckless driving.
April 11: Brooke Taylar Mallory, 31, was arrested on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with first-degree criminal mischief (vandalism).
April 11: Derick Bryce Franks, 39, was arrested on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with first-degree criminal mischief (vandalism).
April 10: Melvin Ray Mitchell, 67, was arrested on a warrant on the 100 block of E. Gladys and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
April 9: Wallace Gary Smith, 54, was arrested on a warrant on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
April 9: Derek William Baker, 33, was arrested on a warrant on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with contempt of court – punitive.
April 8: Omar Barragan, 37, was arrested on the 500 block of S.W. 13th Place #H204 and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
April 8: Ricky Lynn Montoya, 62, was arrested on the 900 block of W. Orchard Avenue and charged with hit and run – property.
April 8: Taryn Anne Brewer, 25, was arrested on the 600 block of N.W. 11th Street and charged with motor vehicle crash, reckless endangering, second-degree child neglect, driving uninsured, reckless driving, and DUII – alcohol.
April 7: Gustavo Tabullo Aguirre, 55, was arrested on the 200 block of S.W. 11th Street and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
April 7: Brian James Lee, 30, was arrested on a warrant near N. First Street and charged with parole violation for sanction/detainer.
April 6: Emmali Grigsby, 21, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
April 5: Daniel Paul Alston, 56, was arrested on the 700 block of Hensel Road and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
April 5: Derick Erin Young, 40, was arrested on the 100 block of W. Cherry Avenue and charged with first-degree theft over $1,000 (theft from a motor vehicle) and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle.
