The Columbia River Conference title is up for grabs tonight when Pendleton comes to town to take on the Hermiston Bulldogs at Kennison Field.
Both teams enter the game with a 2-0 conference record. The 7-1 Bulldogs remain the No. 3 5A team in the state, according to the OregonLive poll. The Buckaroos come into the game with an overall 5-3 record.
Pendleton and Hermiston have had two common opponents this season – CRC rivals The Dalles and Hood River Valley. Hermiston hammered The Dalles on Oct. 17, 75-6, while Pendleton beat The Dalles, 30-12, last week. The Bulldogs beat Hood River Valley, 55-7, last week, while the Buckaroos beat them, 55-27, on Oct. 17.
Hermiston has scored 369 points on offense this season and given up just 128 points on defense. Pendleton has scored a total of 229 point on offense and given up 203 points on defense.
