HPD Cpt. Travis Eynon said Seelye had been wanted for allegedly shoplifting at Smitty’s Ace Hardware in Hermiston on Feb. 4. Shortly after Feb. 4, the HPD posted a photo on Facebook of a man believed to by Seelye and asked the public to contact the department if they knew of him.

Seelye was jailed on theft as well as fraud charges. Eynon said Seelye allegedly took a credit card from another person and attempted to use it at two different stores.
