Hermiston police officers arrested a Colorado man wanted on a sexual assault charge after he was spotted in Hermiston.
According to Lt. Randy Studebaker, the Hermiston Police Department received a tip on Thursday that Mathia Moses, 23, of Colorado, was in the 300 block of W. Harper Road. Hermiston officers confirmed that a warrant was out for his arrest and located Moses and took him into custody after a foot pursuit.
Moses was lodged in the Umatilla County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Colorado.
