The Hermiston Police Department are looking for a man described as a person of interest in a shooting that took place in Hermiston Saturday night.
Hermiston Cpt. Travis Eynon said Alex Ahumada, 33, may be armed and dangerous.
Hermiston police received a report of a shooting Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. at the 200 block of Beebe Avenue. Carlos Ramirez, 27, of Hermiston, was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center by private vehicle to treat a gunshot wound. Ramirez was later taken to another medical facility for treatment. Eynon said his injuries are likely not life-threatening.
Eynon said the shooting was an isolated incident and not a random act. He said Ahumada and Ramirez knew each other. Eynon said if anyone sees Ahumada, they should call the police.
