Hermiston Police Seek Help in Solving Robbery at 11th Street Market

The Hermiston Police Department is asking the public’s help regarding a robbery that occurred in Hermiston Monday night.

Just after 11 p.m., according to the HPD, a suspect robbed the 11th Street Market, 425 N.W. 11th St. The police report the suspect showed a weapon and demanded money before fleeing the area. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a short, heavyset, Hispanic female in her early 20s, wearing dark clothing with her face covered. Investigators are currently following up on leads. Anybody with information is asked to call the Hermiston Police Department at 541-567-5519.

“We would like to be everywhere at once, but that is just not feasible,” said Lt. Randy Studebaker. “We are asking the public to assist us by being vigilant, and calling when they see something that does not look right.”
