Ted William Landreth died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston, Oregon at the age of 41.
He was born February 16, 1973 at Portland to parents, Bobby Dale & Donna Irene (Harmon) Landreth. He was raised in Hermiston and graduated from Hermiston Senior High School in 1991. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and later joined the Army National Guard and served in Iraq from October 2010 until October 2011. Ted was a Staff Sergeant with the Oregon Army National Guard. On June 26, 2004 he married Angela Christine Allen in Hermiston. Ted worked as a mechanic for Les Schwab Tires in Hermiston since 2012. He was a member of the Hermiston VFW Post #4750. He enjoyed car racing, auto cross, motorcycles, bowling, and loved tinkering on cars.
He is survived by his wife, Angi of Hermiston, OR; mother, Donna (Nick) Phillips of Hermiston, OR; stepmother, Pamela Landreth of Alta Loma, CA; brothers, Tom (Nola) Landreth of Alta Loma, CA, Ned (Audrey) Reber of Alta Loma, CA and Lance Phillips of Du Pont, WA; and sister, Tina Rogers of University City, WA.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Bobby Landreth on March 16, 2009.
A Memorial Service with military honors will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Oregon Army National Guard Armory, 900 SE Columbia Drive, Hermiston, OR 97838.
