The Hermiston Rotary Club is making available two scholarship opportunities for graduates of Hermiston, Echo, Stanfield, Umatilla, Irrigon and Boardman schools.
The first is the Hermiston Rotary Club/Ralph Brownson Scholarship which is available to students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of college.
The number of scholarships and their amounts will vary based on applicant’s need, community and school achievement and goals.
The second scholarship available is the Hermiston Rotary Club Foundation Educators Scholarship. Two scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded. The scholarships are available for students who will be juniors, seniors or post graduate students with a declared course of study on education. Special consideration will be given to students with plans to teach in Hermiston School District.
